What is the Evidence Knowledge Hub?

The Evidence Knowledge Hub is a centralized resource created by the Data Foundation to support evidence-based policymaking. It provides access to agency evidence plans, evaluation reports, tools, and resources to help federal agencies, researchers, and the public understand and implement the Foundations for Evidence-Based Policymaking Act (Evidence Act).

Who can use the Hub?

The Hub is open to everyone — policymakers, researchers, students, and the general public. Most resources are freely accessible, though some materials may be restricted due to privacy, security, or confidentiality requirements.

How do I access materials on the Hub?

Most resources are freely available and can be accessed without logging in. Simply browse by agency, topic, or resource type. Documents are downloadable in common formats (PDF, CSV, XLS) where applicable.

Can I reuse or share the content?

Yes. Users are encouraged to reuse, adapt, and share materials for research, policy, or educational purposes, provided they include proper attribution to the Data Foundation or the originating agency.

How do I contact Evidence Act Officials?

The Hub provides a directory of Evidence Act Officials and key agency personnel. Contact information (where publicly available) and role descriptions are included to help users connect.

Why was the Evidence Knowledge Hub created?

The Hub was established to promote transparency and accountability in government, make federal evidence resources accessible and reusable, support cross-agency learning and collaboration, and help agencies and the public implement the Evidence Act effectively.
